that won't work. Law of supply and demand. petron has a limited supply of gas, and limited number of gas refiniries. Which means they can only producce a certain amount of gas a day. So if everyone would get their gas from petron, eventually petron will have to increase the price of their gas because they only have a limited supply. It's common for shell, petron, and caltex sometimes to do business with each other. To make it worse, gas companies sometimes sell gas to other gas companies if they could make a profit. Therefore, petron will eventually be buying gas from Shell, thus increasing petron's gas price.

alternative form of energy is only the way to go. gas is a limited source of energy and global commodity. prices will only have one way to go which is up . unfortunately, the oil companies have been hindering the technology of alternative forms of energy.

sakto man mo tanan nga the best way to solve the problem of high fuel prices is to have an alternative fuel source/kind etc... BUT, when? Coco oil etc.. has been around ever since, even water as fuel but until now wala gyud ghapon. i'm not discuoraged or anything but right now, blabbering about these studies, researches do no good at all.

The remedy i posted above may sound ridiculous BUT it's workable now. no one here is sure what the effect will be. NO ONE. so join na and let's find out.

unfortunately naa na unta tay mga alternatives but our govt. seemed not to care about it...wala kunoy budget sa pagdevelop labi na atong invention nga tubig ray gamiton as fuel...meaning gamay nalang ang magamit na oil kay tubig naman gamiton as main consumption sa engine...

there are hybrid cars (two engines part eletric/part gasoline) and gives you close to twice as much distance.

so if shells/caltex sells their gas cheaper than petron....do you switch to shell/caltex?

i think there's only a slight price differential between the three oil companies, i've been a petron user ever since i got hold of my first car, indeed they are the cheapest, but that's only less than a peso..

if we wanna give these companies a hard beating, then i think it's better if we focus more on other alternative source of energy, or i think this is the time we and government must give serious support to filipino scientists and inventors who has been giving us prospect alternatives..
