Both are important in songwriting. Your question is, what is more important so I have to choose. For me melody is more important. Without lyrics we can still call it music. Instrumental music to be specific. Kung lyrics ra, unsaon man na nato?..igo ra basahon nga walay kinabuhi?..kung atong butngan ug tono sa pagbasa, nigamit na ta'g melody...Para nako melody ang mas importante kay makapaminaw gihapon ta bisag walay lyrics...kung kamo papilion...ibutang nato naa mo's party celebration...naay tukar nga walay lyrics? o basahan ra mo'g lyrics?...
