I think the ambassadors understood the fact that it was an isolated case. As what the ambassador of Iraq said, hostage takings even happens in his country. The only difference was how it was handled.

This is true, we forgot to thank those people who actually worked behind the curtains to make this historic event for Mandaue City. I can just imagine the security measures they had to go through just to avoid another fiasco. We all know that most of the credit goes to the humble Mayor, but we also acknowledge his dedicated team who I'm sure had sleepless nights just to make sure that these ambassadors get the warmest accommodation the city can offer.
