ako lang pud i post akong experience diri bago rani na hitabo this May 2011 ra,

pag bantay pud mo anang manawag sa inyong balay nya mangayo og donation.

usa ka adlaw naa nanawag sa among balay among katabang ang naka tubag. ning ingon akong katabang nga ako daw ang gipangita... so tubag pud ko, ning ingon ang babae nga caller nga taga DYRB daw siya nga radio station, og nangita sila og "SPONSORS" daw para sa public school activities... nangutana ko niya ngano kaila man siya nako? ning tubag ang babae nga naa daw naka ila nako taga DYRB, og kong mahimo pwede bako mo "SPONSOR" og 2000php para sa activity, nangutana ko onsa mana nga public SCHOOLs bah? ingon pud siya nga tanan public schools daw ang maka benefit....

ako pud kai gi hasulan ko og tubay2x ako pud gi jam jam2xman... og ning sugot ko sa 2k over the phone (kai ga too ko nga dugay pa mo ari sa balay)....

pag human sa tawag, akong gipangutana among katabang ngano naka ila man to nako og onsa ilang gi sturyaan?.. ning sulti pud ang katabang nga nangutana ra ang babae kong kinsa na bilin a balay, nya onsa pangalan.. ato nga time nakahibaw nako nga nanyamba ra diay ang kagwang.. pag taod taod naai babae ning abot sa among balay og ga dala og subri, sa solud naa sulat og resibo (completo pa) para sa 2k (dali-a ah!).

Our home was victimize by the famous FAKE GRADUATING PRIEST.

One afternoon, a man suddenly appeared at our gate, conspicuously on a hurry, because he said, he is leaving for Vatican at that day, and pretending to be one of our relatives. He suddenly knocks on our gate and told us his name with his family name that is the same as our family name. And always shouting proudly or our family name and telling us he's going to Vatican for his last ceremony on becoming a priest. My mother, let him enter our house to get to know him better. (me on the other hand was busy playing pc games, so never mind him.)

(probably he already scouted our house knowing my father is abroad and my mother, doesn't really know most of the clan members of my fathers side.)

So, we really thought he was really graduating, so as he enters our house, we took his hand and asked for a blessing. So he explained on detailed who son is he, what part in cebu he stayed.... bla bla bal... so on the latter part of the conversation, he asked for help, if my mother could give just a little donation. (PABAON LANG DAW). (that was the time it felt awkward for me.) my gullible mother would have took her 2k pesos to give to that con man, when I blocked her and said don't. "Nganu man?" she asked. I told her that will talk later, just don't give him money. The fake guy was sweating like a pig.

So my mother went back to talk to him, with a disappointed face saying as of now she doesn't have money to give, she just referred my other uncle who is richer. So after that, the fake guys phone rang and was talking to someone then he told us he needs to get going because he might be late for his flight on that day.

So, we said goodbyes and apologies that we can't hand him even a bit of money. And after he left my mother asked me why...... I told her I suspected the guy as a con artist. So my mother went out to check what car/ motorcycle he's riding, but surprisingly they're already gone.

So 3 days after that, we just heard it on the radio about the fake priest knocking around.

lalaki: di ba taga convergys ka?

lalaki: cge nalang... (lakaw pod siya dayun)

ako pod dali2x og lakaw padung sa atbang sa cathedral kay mosakay ko'g jeep padung SM...

nahibong lang ko nganong naka pangutana siya'g taga convergys... it was the first time i saw that guy... basin nakakita pod siya nako... pero, di pod ko magpahuwam og kwarta sa dili nako kaila... mismo, di man gani ta mohatag og offering sa mass or sa mga limus sa kadalan or kana man gani naa kalit mosulod nga bata sa jeep nga kalit lang yawyaw, "di man snatcher, ate/ kuya... tinarung ni amoa intawn...

sayon ra kaayo na sis... ug ni ingon ka ato nga taga convergys ka, nahug na murag ni sakay naka sa iyang istorya... diha na mu sugod ang modus... kay ni tubay naman ka sa iyang istorya... pero may gani wala.
