the church's collection worldwide has dropped by 50% or so since the last decade... law suits against priests (specially settlements) are very expensive... and less people are going to church... in my opinion... no offense to the church... but i think they're struggling... financially, maybe... and probably in our country... or region... or city... or barangay...

most second collection are for certain projects or a certain cause. even if the project is completed, another one will sprung up to continue with the tides of the 2nd collection - the church will continue to do so as long as there is a beneficiary.

wala pa jud ko kabalo sa reason ngano naa 2nd collection... possibly ba nga nahimo ni nga idea tungod daghan ang late mo sulod sa misa?

ang intention sa simbahan siguro is pun-an pa ang collection if ever naa pa gusto mo tabang ..coz siguro daghan mga simbahan sa laing laing probinsya nga nag kinahanglan ug support sa mga diocesan Church.
