i vote mike bcuz of mayor tommy..give him a chance to lead the city.

i voted for osmena in the last elections as i admired his accomplishments and even placed the city of cebu as the 8TH BEST CITY IN ASIA years back. kalimot ko unsa to nga year. when alvin garcia took over, the city ratings gradually declined mao na pag sunod elections osmena jud ko.

pero the past months i wasnt impressed with osmena anymore. one basic example is our city roads. look how delapidated they are. daghan kaayo lubak2 and he even promised the "asphalt storm" months ago pero wa juy nahitabo. kung naa man gani mangaspalto, igo ra pang tabon. dili jud ang tibuok dalan. kutob lang sa strya. igo rata gipa lamian kadto pag asian summit pero after that, wala na.

i hope mike rama will address this one issue as well as the others. kapoy kaayo daghan strya nya wala sa buhat.

hopefully kung kinsa ma mayor, they should deliver the goods for the city and its people.

actually kanang asphalt storm, duha na ka elections niagi anang ilang panghambog nga asphalt storm pero it has remained to be an empty, traditional politician's promise.

i was supposed to be for mike rama.. but the way he is turning out to be.. mura lang itoy yano-yanuhan ni tomas.. i wont waste my vote for him. ive voted only once for tomas thats when the time he first ran against alvin... but since then and 2 elections had passed, ive never voted for him again. lots of arrogance displayed, countless times he had displayed that as an osmeña, he can do away with it because this is cebu... in the meantime, the delivery of basic services remains 3rd class... even garbage collection sucks... what more the roads, health services, education, etc.

this elections, ill abstain in voting mayor and vice mayor... walay mapilian tarong nga pagkatao. i wouldnt waste my vote to "also-rans". i want change unta but sadly, with the current roster, no change can be hoped for.

even sa congresman sa south diay.. abstain pod ko... ang pilianan - tomas and atan. sus, pungkula na lang ko kesa butar either of the two.

people are tired of old ways, we want change!

arrogance cannot be put in the same breath with political will.
one leader can display firm and strong political will without being arrogant.
arrogance, vindictiveness and with little regard to law and order
are not exactly amiable traits of a true leader.

im not for either of the parties running today...
i doubt if i can even fill-up the maximum number of "votable" councilors gani
as i know quite a few of them personally... esp. the new ones...
i know one gani nga ang main qualification niya to be included in the slate
is that he's a constant "drinking buddy" of tomas... so that inspite of
having impregnated several women and being run after by lending companies
he was still able to land a slot in bo-pk... makataw na lang gani ko every time
nga makakita ko sa iya poster nga dako kaayo ngisi hehe

kana imong gisulti nga wala ma-asphalt, may i ask u first... asa ka nga barangay?? basin taga north district ka... kay focus rabang tommy karon kay south district coz he is running for congress... partly affected ang basic services sa north district... pero im sure if mike will win, mabalik rana ang basic services all over the city...
