Lack of love for county? .. agreed. Patriotism is the last thing in a filipinos mind. We do love our family and loved ones, but not country.

we all have too much freedom to the point that we no longer have discipline. Also, we are in the present "fast" age. we are able to cook food fast, buy things fast, sell things fast, even find GF/BF fast and more importantly demand fast money.

We have lost and refuse to follow the ways of our elders. The attitude of saving money for a rainy day, "earning our stripes" at any company then later go up the ladder and earn our salary.

I say this because I am also falling into this bad cycle but constantly trying to pull myself away from it. a FAST paced world need not mean our leaving behind tried and tested values and practices. they not only build one's character but also one's mind.

dats right brod. we need to have a "sustainable industries" our goverment should invest on it.
