Stargirl and Love, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
* My two favorite books of all time!!! Non-conformity, being true to your inner self and teenage romance all in one book. I love Stargirl Caraway. Plus, there are so many quoatable quotes from the books.
Fragrant Palm Leaves by Thich Nhat Hanh
* About Buddhism. I get such a peaceful feeling every time I read it.
Mister God, This is Anna by Fynn
* This is a non-fiction book. I love it because it reminds me of what I have lost and what I am searching for.
Angels & Demons - Dan Brown
The Jackson 500 Vol. 1 - Tim Biskup...makes me smile
da vinci code, dead aim by conrado de quiros, and alchemist
Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.. because weird fantasy siya, exaggerating ang pagka himo sa mga role sa characters and i've seen the 1985 6 hour-movie. nice pud cya, although hapit magbuwa2 akong baba ani. and yep, naa si Ringo Starr of "the beatles dire" although there are rumors that this story was made while the writer was on drugs. But all in all, grabe ang impact aning story sa akong art passion. Very good description sa mga casts. Splendid.
Tolkien's: Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the hobbit - dire nako first na-visualize unsa jd ang tinuod nga characteristics sa mga gremlins, fiends, dwarves, gargoyles, ogres, hobbits, elves, out-of-world creatures of course.. ni-broad akong imagination about things hehe pero dili to the point nga mag drugs ha. pero usahay maghuna2 ta nga nakadrugs jd guro ni.. but toliken grew up in africa and studied somewhat literature there so i guess drugs wasnt the reason pud hehe, it was the nature.. for the love of mother earth pud.. hehe
The Chronicles of narnia by CS lewis: fantasy weird. that's my kind of book
JK Rowling's Harry Potter: yes, I love magic, potions, wickedness. period.
Flaws in the Glass by Patrick White: nahan ko mubasa about childhood experiences and war experiences. Ang memory aning writer ky grabe ka detail mu-explain sa iyang childhood everything.
The catcher in the rye by JD Salinger: naay points nga makarelate ko
We have always lived in the castle by Shirley Jackson: very gothic, to the point nga magbuwabuwa pud imong baba nga dili ka mutuo sa mga panghitabo like you wanna kill someone pud.. brutal ni and ang iyang book cover ky deceiving and it caught my eye. you wouldnt believe na ang usa na child makahimo ug something with everyone because of hatred.
The Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury: of course, i like everything twisted, weird, fantacy-ish disturbing like this one.
sorry kapoy na ug modify.. mao ni cya ang cover sa "We Have Always Lived in the Castle" by Shirley Jackson..
i recommend this one.![]()
I've read a lot of good books, really good books! But the closest to my heart, up to now, is L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of OZ.
