there is no absolute meaning for LIFE. so life's meaning is what it means to you.
for me, we make our own meaning by the way we live, experiences, and everything in between.
in hindsight, we get born...we procreate...we die. to keep the species alive. everything else is just to make it interesting.

is having a GOD/s a pre-requisite for a meaningful life? NOT AT ALL.
besides, its about the journey...not the destination.

some people spend most of their time PREPARING for this "afterlife"...propping up, buying the stairway to heaven-ish. well buhay nila yun. to each his own. but if you tell me that is the ONLY way, i'd say: bite me.

of course, ALL of us were born atheists y'know.hahaha
do put into consideration...some devout/religious faithfuls end up with atheism. Go figure.
Ok your an atheist, i don't need to convince you to anything to be religious. Its your life, just don't drag us along with your Atheist stuff, bcoz we have different perception in life. Hmm, i bet you just rely only yourself as your life's meaning and guidance.
By the way, i think there's an "Atheist" thread/topic under "Spirituality & Occult" you can spread the word there *peace

    belief is a beautiful armor
but makes for the heaviest sword
    like punching underwater
you never can hit who you're trying for
    some lead the exhibition
and some have to know they tried
    it's the chemical weapon
for the war that's raging on inside
    oh, everyone believes
    from emptiness to everything
    oh, everyone believes
    and no one's going quietly

we're never gonna win the world
we're never gonna stop the war
    we're never gonna beat this
if belief is what we're fighting for

what puts a hundred thousand children in the sand?
    belief can, belief can
what puts a folded flag inside his mother's hand?
    belief can, belief can

nindot jud kaayo mga lyrics ni si John Mayer. hehe

bitaw pre sak2 jud ka sama ra na sa kanta ni John Lennon "Imagine"

full support ko sa imong advocacy!... never think nga nag inusara ka!

ayaw kabalaka nga murag malumos ka sa kangil-ad ug ka bogo sa kalibutan... people like us are meant to be great, although we are expected to pay the price for that greatness...

tan-awa c Jesus o, revolutionary kaayu ug huna-huna, gi lansang hinuon... pero ayaw ka hadlok ana! ipadayag jud ang kamatooran nga

    DAPAT WALAY NAY RELIGION!!
    DAPAT WALA NAY DISCRIMINATION
    DAPAT EQUAL TANAN
DAPAT MAWAGTANG ANG CLASSES sa SOCIETY

to the believers of the Fundamentalist Catholic or any Faith... i am forced to respect your views becoz ur the majority hahahaha... but really, i dnt think your dogmas are still applicable in this time and age. sorry nyahahah

John Lennon was a revolutionary man, but not necessarily ultra super good. The same goes with Jesus... Their revolutionary ideas caused them their lives...
Remember the Allegory of the cave by Plato? People who thinks differently are always branded as "troublemakers" looser, and stuffs like that... and its true because when you change something, a reaction would always take place.... NORMAL ra na.

Sometimes we can't really please everybody, i wish we could, but unfortunately we cannot.
REVOLUTIONARY thinkers like us must stay frim in our beliefs no matter how painful the persecution is.

We find our reward in knowing that in one way or another our ideas make sense, and that our small ideas, are the building blocks for a brighter tomorrow for all of mankind, no boundaries, no classes, no religion.

Utopia is possible we just need to think hard and work harder. ^_^

mostly, i'd say YES. well, who else would i? to somebody? someone? you? your gawd?
as much as possible i want to be SELF-RELIANT. but i do rely on family, friends, peers, co-workers on certain occasions ...coz on certain occasions, specifically...i have to be a TEAM PLAYER.

It seems simple doesn't it? In today's scientific, technological world you'd think fairy tails like a virgin woman becoming pregnant, the story of creation, people coming back from the dead, ect. would be laughed upon...but they are not. Superstitions and fairy tales still prevail as truths to most human beings around the world.

Why? Human beings grip their religion tightly because it gives them an answer to death. It gives them hope for eternal life. Thus they choose to believe that these fairy tales are facts. We all know that what happens after is uncertain, life after death is not guarantee. Religion makes people feel better about dying. This is fine, afterall everyone is free to believe what they want. However, what is not fine is when humanity refers to this life on earth as "temporary" "a passage to the better life." This sort of mentality is not good because it makes people passive to the horrors of society. It makes people passive to poverty, pollution, ect. and it prevents us from reaching utopia on earth. Why bother fixing this world if heaven is around the corner?

Mentioned above is only one of the horrors of religion, the other horror is the human segregation factor. More people have died in the name of God than anything else. All we have to is look at the Middle East to witness the evilness of religion. There is nothing more valuable on earth than a human life, yet we kill eachother in the name of something we can't even see...this is true stupidity and also very maddening. Naturally relgion breeds hate, and the worst part is that is disguises itself as "love" and "purity."

RELIGION, the number one nemesis of human progress.
