I think I'm in a better frame of mind to actually list down what I use a PC for (my previous post, the third post after the thread starter's own, was made during a moment of pure, unadulterated mental exhaustion), so here goes:

1. checking email
2. pretending to be a "battle flyer" for the Luftstreitkrafte, over Flanders Fields, ca. 1917., in a World War I aerial combat simulation called "Red Baron 3D"
3. gathering the information I need for the day, via the World Wide Web
4. pretending to be a submarine captain in a World War II submarine simulation called "Silent Hunter IV"
5. edit photographs for work and for personal use, via Adobe Photoshop
5. pretending to be one of Napoleon's generals during the Austrian campaigns against the Archduke Charles, ca. 1809, in a PC-based, turn-based wargame called "Napoleon's Campaigns"
6. convert music CDs to MP3 for my cell phone's music player
7. pretending to be a PPL, flying a Cessna Skylane 182G over Lipa City, Batangas, in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
8. update my online art gallery and portfolio at DeviantArt.com
9. pretending to be God, in Will Wright's 1991 classic, SimEarth.
10. editing sound samples for work and personal use, using SoundForge
11. pretending to be Nishizawa's wingman, flying a Japanese Zero fighter for the 4th Kokutai against the American threat in the Pacific theater, in a World War II Combat Flight Simulator called IL2: 1946.
12. chat with my girlfriend using Yahoo Messenger
