reviews have found that games performs better in XP than in Vista...

the date on those benchmarks are of jauary 2007, a year old and vista has come quite a way in a year with updates and better configs and stuff. maybe you should have your drivers checked. with 8800gt you should be able to play cod4 at a nice framerate. high 40s with fps and med to high graphics.

+ those games are old too. wouldnt be fair to next gen gaming and dx10 to use benchmarks for older games.

im sure newer games would be better benchmarks.

is there a more present version of the comparisons between xp and vista with gaming? coz im sure it does much better.. if there is a difference its probably very small so gaming isnt much of a problem with Vista UNLESS people who say havent actually played on vista

Its a user made & compiled add-on's and skins for vista.. most common software they bundle is Vista Transformation pack + Windows Blinds & Object dock.

Vista will NEVER be faster as XP in terms of gaming ( DX9 ).

have you ever tried gaming on a vista? seven might take a while. i did bump up my hardware coz there are just too many great games the past year. especially fps games and rts. 2007 was a good year.

Vista is a good operating system ( security, multimedia ). Ang problem is it really needs a pimp PC/Notebook. Get those quad core Pentiums, 4 gigabyte RAM, NVidia 8800 GTS, 10000 RPM Hard Disk... Then you will feel the power of Vista. Pero pinoy man ta, so di lang ta mag Vista Vista kay di ta ka afford.... XP Rules!
