    The Bug only affects NVidia cards.

    The Nvidia 8800 series cards does not support DX10.1. So the patch effectively disables DX10.1 and convert it back to already buggy DX10.
    DX10.1 supposedly is gonna fix AA performance issues with DX10.

    again this is due to NVidia is paying UBI soft for this game and it is not stable in DX10.1.

    Just one tip for 3xxx series ATI card owners don't patch the game. Unless you wanna loose the performance gains implemented with DX10.1 on 3xxx ATI cards.
    We all know marketing is has more influance rather than bug fixes. That is the case for NVidia here.

    XP doesn't have DX10, so this doesn't apply to you.
