^GSMArena doesn't mention it.. that's a downer.

this doesn't look anything like Symbian. Samsung's very own UI developed kuno by Adobe. award-winning design sad ni ang "Croix" interface.
That's a nice phone.... the exterior looks like a copy of the iPhone but with a smaller screen. Better than the iPhone? It's too early to tell.. first off, the F700 doesn't have wifi. 3G don't mean much for people who lives in a place with WiFi connection available just about everywhere. Being Tri-Band, international use would `cause a bit of a problem to most places.Originally Posted by ares623
I do like the keyboard feature (regardless wether it makes the phone thick or not). The 5 megapixel camera is also a plus (a feature which I don't really need).... and of course the 3G connectivity.
All in all, that's a very nice phone... sleek features as well. A good alternative for people who's into touchscreen phones.
Why pamper life's complexities when the leather runs smooth on the passenger seat?
I used to think the same way... the feel of the buttons being pressed, etc.. at first, I was having a hard time with the iphone as far as writing emails and stuff. But after a week, I started getting used to it. I found "typing' even fast and easier compared to my qwerty Blackberry. Now, I would never go back to the conventional button-qwerty phones. I even use my iphone to post here in istorya.Originally Posted by joshbonz

good for you, but to each his/her own preference raman.. and right now, me and thousand of others out there still prefers phones that have touchscreen feature w/ the option of an external physical keypads as alternate GUI..Originally Posted by EZRA

do you happen to know when this phone hits the market?
Naa na ko diha bai - I don't think you understood what I posted. Skeptic ko bahin sa iPhone's touchscreen qwerty keypad sa una pa. When I tried sa iPhone stores diri, I was having a hard time typing things. Magkasayop-sayop kay gagmay kaayo ang keys. That's why it took me a month before I decided to get one (a month after the iphone's release). After hearing from people about getting used to the keypad after a while, I decided to get one. Remember, gikan ko ug Blackberry. It took me roughly about a week to get used to the touchscreen thing. Karon, I'd never go back to actual keypads.. the touchscreen is way better.Originally Posted by joshbonz
You will never know until you tried... like I said, it took me a week to get used to it. Take an iPhone home and spend a week with it. Then spill your opinions after a week's experience.

maybe i'll try your advise.. but i am really biased on phone's that offer you limited GUI capability only (touchscreen ra).. BUT who knows.. in time i might be convince that this iphone really rocks as what you've experienced it..Originally Posted by EZRA
I remember seeing something similiar to that Samsung phone.... T-Mobile man to nako nakit-an. I remember trying them out katung nagbinuang akong unang Blackberry. A couple of phones..It was a T-Mobile Wing and the Tmobile Vario II. Same concept, ma slide ang top half to reveal the keypad. Okay sab baya to pero it looked cheap kay plastic kaayo ug itsura. Murag kuyaw sab to matagak kay flimsy kaayo. Danghag raba kaayo kog mga telepono.
