    Ouch.. Kasakit adto...

Bisag ako, kung tagaan kog opportunity nga makagawas, nga maka-puyo ug makatrabaho sa lain nasud, sa US man o sa Europe, of course, like many people, masugot jud ko uy! Not to flee the country and never to return again, but only to satisfy a personal yearning, kay dream sad nako nga maka-kita ug maayo nga panginabuhi, dream sad nako nga ma-successful, nga ma-reach nako akong goals in life. Dream sad nako nga makatravel sa lain lugar, maka-explore ug lain-lain nga mga societies ug cultures. Pero mubalik ra gihapon ko, kay as a Filipino naa sad koy obligation sa akong country. The people I really admire are those who, even though they have the means to leave the country, still choose to stay and work for changes here, believing that if they just have faith in themselves and their country and if they just persist, things will start to improve.

EZRA: Like I said, all we really have is hope. Yes, it's very tempting to give in to despair, but we must try hard not to. If we truly desire changes, then we cannot succumb to despair. I remember katung nagtalk si Randy David diri sa Cebu, mga two weeks ago lang, about the "socio-economic situation" in the country, naay nangayo niya ug comment about how problems in the country are so overwhelming for people to solve. Niingon si Prof. David nga we must focus our energies on the local level, meaning on our own communities, kay if we take on the problem of the nation as a whole, ma-overwhelmed jud ta, dili nato ma-handle kay complex ra kaayo ang mga problema sa national level. Whereas if we think locally, focus our energies to the problems in our local communities, then dili kaayo ta ma-overwhelmed. So it's really about participating in our communities, about working with other people, because when we work with other people dili na kaayo bug-at tan-awun ang mga problema.

And if you really think about it ... bisag unsa ka mobo ug position ang elected officials, in one way or another, they're still being backed by the big dogs..

    OT:
You can be out anytime diri.. there's no rule against that... and the things you can get here ain't that expensive, actually food is really cheap and if you're a good shopper, you can find cheap stuff as well.
I guess dili tanan maka relate nimo SPACEMAN.. maayo man kang pagka butang diha... not everyone has the luxury to drive their own vehicle. You have to consider nga majority sa mga taw sa Pilipinas, mga kabus. Yeah.. you can go out and party anytime you want as long as you have the money to party. Sa uban, maka action man gani pero inig ka ugma, way pamahaw ug pani-udto.
