Too strong of a word ng 'Bankrupt' but sakto ang latest move ni Magpale na ipa investigate by a 3rd party entity.

If the province is really bankrupt, then by all means let's crucify Gwen because siya man ang governor sa province for the past 8 years so it is her responsibility. But if it is not true, then let's crucify Magpale for making such an irresponsible statement without basis than can and will destroy the reputation of our beloved Cebu to investors and tourists alike. It's about time that people take responsibility for their actions and not just talk. Gwen said said the province is debt free and solvent with cash. Magpale said the province is bankrupt. Since this can't both be true, one of them must be lying. The question is who? Both have put their credibility on the line. Let's see kinsay bakakon nila. Kita man jud ni ang katag ron ba..........

Makita sad nya nato who is sincere in serving Cebu and who is grandstanding. Sa akong panan-aw, ang kinsa tong namakak nilang duwa is the one who is playing dirty politics with only self-interest in mind. Whoever is telling the truth is a good public servant and deserves to serve as governor. Look at it this way. If the province is bankrupt, then Gwen deserves to be lynched for throwing away Cebu's future. But if the province is liquid with cash and debt free, then Gwen has done a good job, deserves to finish her term in peace and is most likely not corrupt. In Magpale's case, if the province is bankrupt, then she should be commended for blowing the whistle and would probably deserve the next 6 months as acting governor so she can try to undo the damage Gwen will have done. However, if the province is solvent and debt free, then Magpale will be exposed for playing politics and propagating self-interest and should be lynched for making such irresponsible statements without verification that could have far reaching consequences on Cebu's future. I, for one, am very curious as to the true state of the province's finances.....
