that is why i thought of an art farm.

the sapak farm is not very far from that plan.
it is a very big land and they just don't know how to utilize it.
they have mango trees they just don't know how to make them more productive in terms of fruits.
they could operate a retreat house or a campsite for boyscout for a fee.
there can be hundreds of things they can do to earn money for themselves.
it is a farm so they can plant their own food. or raise pigs and chickens.

there is a lot of possibilities if we just work together on this.
    positively.
sorry if i kicked negative people out of this thread.
    we don't need them here.
    i don't need them here.
they are obstacles to our plan to help.
they pretend like they know better.
but what they think they know limits their productivity.

we should be the stewards of this planet.
we should think of things to make this world a better place.
if we should solve a problem we must think at a different level.
not the same level of thinking that created the problem at the first place.
naniid rako ani na thread. cant stop myself from commenting.
again, this is run by a Jesuit priest with a Jesuit school. the farm is under Philippine Jesuit Foundation.
im not sure ngano nakaingon ka'g "they dont know hot to utilize the land". they've been raising livestock, poultry, fruit trees even bonsai/ornamental plants and vegies and they have a school from kinder to 4th yr highschool. they even offer music, dance, painting and tutorials. it's an established foundation for the unfortunate they just need more "financial" support.

believe ko ni Fr.Non. coz he made sure makasupport ang farm. they have a school, farm and livestock.

and again, why do you consider me your obstacle? how negative were my previous posts to you? as far as I know this is a public/free forum. anyone can post anything here. you don't own this site so u can't kick or block any negative post you dont want to hear.
I thought you will organize your own project. dili ta mag.inOA oi. stop the drama.

The problem with you sir is you assume to know anything about anything.
Tomorrow I challenge you go with me to this place. So at least you know what you pretend you already knew.
    Okay?
If you cant. then shut up and find your head another hole.
As Ive said you are not helping this thread and you are certainly not helping these kids.

the guy is very old. he could not run the place anymore without help.
they have a school but they only charge P5000 each for one school year.
that is less than P500 a month.

how can you afford a teacher with that small tuition fee?

sir, the problem with you is you act like everything you do and think is perfect and correct, you don't feel good if people will tell you anything. he is old but again, i repeat for your sake, Fr Non is the director. The foundation has 1 property manager and 1 farm manager. The teachers are mostly volunteers and agrees to receive little pay for the sake of helping the kids. they also have board of trustees which i think you miss considering.

i live in compostela for 16yrs that's why I know.

here you go again. I dont know what you want to accomplish with your post. maybe you want to discredit me or say im just lying.
the fact is you havent been there lately and you talk like you know the guy.
    the guy needs help.
do not assume that he is ok and he can manage the farm without help.
yes he is smart and sharp.
probably an atenean but he is already old.
if you just looked at the pictures in facebook.
you could see in the photo that the boys are staring on a dwindling supply room with 2 sacks of rice
    Facebook
and a few boxes of can goods and vegetables
    Facebook
(i think you have to open your facebook account on another tab, before you could see these photos)

    the place needs repairs.
    the cr,
the rooms and their roofs. everything needs to be repaired.

    there is no farm manager
    and no property manager.
    he runs the farm alone.
    everybody there works as volunteers.

I dont know why i am arguing with you. cococrunch.
still i think you are not here to help.
if you were here id kick you in the butt.

    Thank bro.
I really need this kind of support.

if it helps to sell the idea, im contemplating in presenting it as a documentary of some sort.
just to give people idea of how bad the orphanage needed our help. maybe i can post it in youtube or facebook.

well, i've already imagined how this would end.

from his "actual plan" it ended up supporting a foundation instead. i remember he shrugged my suggestion to support DSWD instead.

somehow, pressuring and challenging him will force doc to initiate or deploy the project. i must have hurt his ego that's why he can't recognize and realize my concern.

Sir, it would be better if mag post ka sa imong PayPal account , so we can send donations, kay i think most of people here do have PayPal accounts. And it is fast and easy to contribute.

but before that, you should update us, post events and pictures of the project para mas convincing for us to donate.
