Philcite - pinaka samok na concerts at the time, Culture Shock, Loud Whispers Silent Screams, ug uban pa
Cebu Coliseum - Pinoy Woodstock and other international groups
others: Aznar Coliseum, San Carlos Boys, venue in Ramos market (forgot the name)

Radio Stations:
Y101 - used to hang out there a lot, magpa record ug mga rare new wave tracks, lol (the perks of having DJ friends)
DYRT - alternative but I never liked Ka Pedro (irritating)
Smash FM - good old classic rock
NU 107 - played rock while on test broadcast, then suddenly switched to jazz when the regular broadcast began, then back to what it is now

Tambayan:
Shakeys - slam dancing to 40 The Band (after a few pizzas and beers)
Gaw colon (don't remember the exact name) - slow rock, Smash FM types i.e. anvil crowd
Boulevard, Chonas Bachoy - no concerts, but lots of beer, and good place to see/start a rambol
Bukid - again, no concerts, but, well... you know whats its for

Fact:
I was hanging out at Y101 (days before The Dawn was set to perform at USC Boys) and Etu was there. We talked, and he mentioned about creating a band (as he was a solo artist). I asked him what band he had in mind, and he replied that it should look like The Dawn (kana kunong naay hitsura gamay) and he goes on ranting about Khumbmella Band (nindot ug tukar pero mga bati kuno ug nawong) LOL.

hahaha.. it is so great when you have to remember all those things that we have done way-back the old days.
and i came to remember also TIMESQUARE atbang sa cosmo sa junquera, wala pud concert pero mga video ra sa mga underground na bands ug uban pa nga mga rare na video... i remeber when i sold one of my recorded headbangers ball video cassete tape to them just to by a chrome cassete for recording.hehehe and one of my favorite song during those times was bangkay by DAMIAN. perme pko ato adto ug booksale kay mo tan-aw ug bag-o na video nga gi sale. then lastly ang studio ni tinggoy sa may echavez ang noise garrage... hehehe

Mid to late 80s... Shakey's Mango Avenue

Early 90s... Rib-O's

Mid 90's to late 90's... Pards, Padis, Artist Dais, Morbai's place sa mango, kalimot ko sa ngalan... Arquiz Bar... that native restaurant unahan sa Cebu Plaza...
