i think naa rana sa pag config sa imong antivirus. honestly, nod32 is a decent antvirus software. gaan kaayo ba and grabe sad ka secure.

cHoLoCoY: Do not use the windows firewall! This is just crap. Download as djereza suggested a free firewall like zonealarm or similar.
If you use p2p networks, download also peerguardian 2 (just google for it).
Register at wilderssecurity.com and checkout the official nod32 board there. There you can get almost every information about new threats, nod32 settings and so on. Its a must to be informed.

I can tell you what I have running:
Lock 'n stop as firewall
Nod32 as antivirus
Peerguardian to block tall the bad ip's
Process guard to protect processes from injections, termination etc.
Counterspy to scan for spyware etc.
And with this, I got never infected etc.
Maybe I am lucky...
Oh, I also have a router with added firewall rules to block the gromozon ip ranges... this gromozon is the worst nightmare at the moment.

i used to use SpySweeper,..... and i like'd it alot,.... how does Counterspy compare to it?

I cant tell you much about zonealarm.
I was always seeking for a lightweight firewall and antivirus, which is also very good in detection and I ended up with lock 'n stop and nod32. I tried outpost, which is quiet good, but its anyhow a "heavyweight" and slowed down my computer too much.

Mine i Get for free sa Internet AVG anti virus its not heavy on my computer no back log and loading time is quick and most of all its verry effective, so far i got no virus in my computer when i installed AVG. the best anti virus AVG hehehe for me lang ha and most of all its FREE

If a scanner does not detect a virus (whatever scanner you use), it does not mean that you dont have one... he he... its like a real virus, you can drink as much vitamic c as you can, it does not mean you wont get a cold... right?

If you have a router, block also this ip ranges:
195.225.176.0/22
85.255.112.0/19
66.230.175.0/255.255.255.0
193.111.200.0/255.255.255.0

This are mostly gromozon ip ranges, the worst around.
