Actually, Lois Lane is Chloe's cousin. Watched one of the season 3 episodes wherein Chloe wanted to use her cousin's name as her writer's name since she's no longer working for the Daily Planet.

But, she still wanted the story to be printed so she told her boss to print it under the alias name "Lois Lane" who she said was her cousin who had no interest in journalism. There ya go. And yes, it is probably the only way they could have tied Chloe in to the comic."

She's not going to be Lois Lane. They just incorparated her using "Lois Lane" into the episode so she'll have a part in the comic continuity. She's definitely not going to be Lois Lane (my opinion)
