I once sold a ps3, a high end guitar and an itouch... a word of advice from what i've experienced.. some of the buyers asked to checked my license to get my full name, aswell as a picture of me which I didn't mind and actually gave a week of personal warranty aswell as the receipt of the item... in turn gi picturan nako ang items na akong gi sell sad para inig uli if ever defaced ang item it would be as good as sold... buyer-seller relationship ba... this would be an eye opener for you na lisod ang panahon and to protect yourself... kai look at the situation right now... the seller is long gone... plus it's easy to either make a new account and buy a new sim na tag P10...

plus no offense to the newbies of istorya I am not generalizing but mostly gyud... na since rampant ang paghimo og new account, you should more conscious of the join date and the numbers of post sad... like

Ang ultimatum ani if dili jud niya i uli ang kwarta or bisag ilisan kay ipa banned nalang jud ang IP address. unya if ever naa kaila niya diri sa istorya nga maka link sa facebook ba run or picture ani niya atleast i post nalang sad kay sure ko mag himu rana siya og lain account. palit bag.o nga sim para lahi nasad ang mga contact numbers niya.

I've almost been scammed in the same way as you are in the past, when the iPhone 4 I bought from the person started malfunctioning, I tried calling him many times for three days, as well as sending him a lot of text messages asking him to pick up his phone because the iPhone he sold to me was broken, although he ignored my calls and texts, I managed to straighten him up after texting him that I would sue him by the end of the week and have him dragged out from his home by the police if he didn't play fair with me. And thus in the end, he told me he would pay for the repairs necessary as well as a rebate, so he and I went to JY to have my iPhone repaired, the person who attempted to scam me paid 1,500 to Dave at JTech and gave me a rebate of 3,000 pesos out of my 20,000 that I paid him.

The point is that, before you buy anything from an online seller, you should do a background check on him first,( i.e. feedbacks from past buyers, if not then do an email check that links to his social network accounts) That shouldn't end there though, when you've finally decided to purchase and meet up with him, check with the terms first and settle it detail by detail, demand a warranty or a refund if the product happens to break down as otherwise advertised, and lastly, draft an agreement that outlines the warranty that you and the seller have agreed upon and as something that you would have the seller sign as a proof that you have purchased the product from him, because that would give you a kind of proof that the product came from the person himself. Some might say " ka OA ra ana bai ui, dili bitaw ko mudagan," but that is for the assurance that he will NEVER scam you of the money that you worked hard for. So if the seller is definitely confident about the item he is selling, he will not complain of the draft, as it is for his proof of trust and for your sake of security. If he will refuse to sign it though, then don't go with the transaction, because he's definitely hiding something.

Next you should do (like what other istoryans here have said) is to take a picture of his driver's license(if he has any) or Valid IDs as to know his full identity and address, for emergency's sake, and a picture of the item he's selling together with the seller.

The process is not entirely complicated and will save you a lot of headaches. People who sell me stuff online usually doesn't have any complains about my methods, they helpfully agree because it shows that want to be trusted as a seller.

I hope this will help you in the future, as it did me.

P.S. the person who sold me the broken iPhone 4 is from iStorya. I will not disclose his name anymore because he resolved the problem already. Details are stated above.
