Money is relatively safe in mutual funds as long as you invest it in reputable mutual fund companies. Some stable MF companies are FAMI (First Metro Asset Management), PAMI (Philam Asset Management), Philequity (Philippine Equity), and Sun Life. Here in Cebu, I think FAMI, PAMI, Sun Life, and ATR Kim Eng lang ang naa (that of what I know).

But keep in mind that there is no such thing as "risk-free" investment. Naa gyud na ang risk sa investments. What you can do though is mitigate the risks. If you won't take risks, your money will not grow either. Finding and investing in reputable and stable companies is one way of mitigating risks.

Mao nani bro, lisod na kaayo ug mahal na kaayo ang mga nindot nga location. More like mas dako pa ang cost sa nindot nga location kaysa sa construction cost hehe.

If I were to pursue this path, any advice bro? The bank is the least desirable institution to go for gyud. hehe.

I think finding the right location ang isa sa murag dako nga problem bro kun wala pa ka existing...kay mahal na gyud kaayo run within City area Na-swertehan lang nga naa mi yuta nga convenient gyud kaayo between mandaue and cebu city...nya duol pa gyud Ayala.

Wla pa sad ko kasulay loan sa Bank for business use, I funded this small business project out of my returns from other investment...
But recently, barato na kaayo ang loan interest rate and naa mga program ang banks for SME...basi OK na sulayan?
