Santo Niño (Spanish for Holy Child) is the Roman Catholic figure of the Child Jesus which represents Jesus from his Nativity which we celebrate (ambot lang kung nag celebrate ba sad ka) every December, before Joseph and Mary returned to Nazareth.

Yes, it is clearly stated that He doesn't want His name to be shared but you're missing the point, the Santo Niño IS Him therefore it cannot be called sharing because the Santo Niño is the baby Jesus. And also, in Isaiah 42:8, it was not Jesus who said that, it was His Father. Ayaw pataka brad.

Ako di ko katoliko pero if mu join ko sa sinulog ang festivity/parade/banda ako tan awun dili ang religious activities. when i join the sinulog many moons ago as a DBC, we join not because of the price but for braggin rights and prestige to join such event...
