Seriously base from my experience, teachers dont get paid well and its not a job which can give you a lot of money. I highly suggest try ONLINE teaching. It is way better. Private tutors are also good (200/hr minimum of 3 hours)

OT: how easy is it for expats to get teaching jobs? do they get higher rates?

i guess you could just walk in and say: "hey, i wanna teach english" hahaha

and yeah, you'll get higher pay, and chances are you're gonna have to handle group classes (called native speaker's class) in lieu of the usual 1-1 classes

tried it, didn't like it. i guess i didn't have the patience. you'll need lots of it.
