Because if you have love(agape) you will enter the kingdom of HEaven.
Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.
And I'm already awaken.
Peace!
Christians dont love to be saved, we love because He first loved us. He gave His life for the salvation of sinners. A saved person loves as a manifestation of the Indwelling Holy Spirit in him.
He recieves the Holy Spirit through trusting in Christ alone for salvation.
Joh 7:39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
Now what about the Law:
The Law of God was given to show us that we are sinners:
Ga 3:19 What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions,......."
How did the Law do that?
Ro 5:20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,
The Law antagonizes and provokes our fallen sinful nature and therefore instead of producing righteousness, the Law was weakened throug our sinful nature, we produced disobedience:
Ro 7:8 But sin, taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire. For apart from the law sin was dead.
That is the nature of SIN in us. God tells us NOt to do this, our sinful natures says: "NO WE WILL DO AS WE PLEASE". You can see this principle working everyday. You tell someone not to do such and such, he does otherwise. Somehow an irristible itch operates in him. "Masarap ang bawal"[/b]
"Do not touch wet paint", somehow that prohibition arouses something inside of you that makes you do what is prohited.
Ro 7:10 And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring death
Ro 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, "You shall not covet.
nothing wrong with the Law. "the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good."
Ro 7:13 Has then what is good become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, that it might appear sin, was producing death in me through what is good, so that sin through the commandment might become exceedingly sinful.
Ro 8:3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh [sinful nature in man], God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,
Ro 8:7 Because the mind of the flesh is opposite to God; it is not under the law of God, and is not able to be:
NOthing wrong with the Law, It is good and holy and righteous. But we are sinners unable to keep it perfectly. The Law is a mirror that shows us that we are sick and we need help.
"Run, John, run! The Law commands!
But gives me neither feet nor hands.
Far grander news the Gospel (grace) brings:
It bids me fly and gives me wings!"
– John Bunyan
And because of this, if we are honest, we must admit that we have violated the Law of God many a time. YOu dont have to commit a lot of crimes to be a criminal in the Law of men. Commit one crime and your a criminal. It is the same with God's Law.
Ro 3:19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
Ro 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
And so the Law show us that we are sinners. We are sick. We need the Doctor Himself, We need the Savior. We need salvation. We need life. we need a new nature, we need a living power inside of us--the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ
Have you loved God and fellowmen with all your heart, mind and strength perfectly all the time?
NO. Therefore you are a sinner.
WE need LIFE, a new nature [a divne one], and a living dynamic through new birth
Christ is our life. He came to indwelll those who trust in Him alone for salvation. We cant live the Christ life through our life. Only Christ can live His life. But He came to indwell sinners who trust in Him alone for salvation. Now we let Him live His life through us.
a new nature. 2Pe 1:4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
a living dynamic. Ga 5:16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
When you walk in the Spirit what will happen? You will bear the fruits of the Spirit:
and one of its fruits is love:
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Ga 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Only those who have the Holy Spirit indwelling in them can truly love. We recieve the Holy Spirit by trusting in Christ alone for salvation.

Relationship with God is a give and take situation. He will love us and we will love him.
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Romans 13:10.
The question is how to love God and what is Love to God?
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 1 John 5:3.
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 1 John 2:4-5.
We need to love each other.
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. loved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. 1 John 4:7-12.
Peace!
c'mon people love is overrated, do you think that the most powerful Beiing in the UNiverse we call God is that vain to save your a** only if you just try to look at him/her/it in the face and tell GOd you love him/her/it? God isnt a metrosexual. and this is not an off topic because im we are assuming that heaven is something that we get if we are saved, and they said that we are saved because we love, and rcruman said love is a give and take situation with God, and this how i would reply--- that God isnt a metrosexual. (no offense to metrosexuals)
