In the first place and to start with ... ma sakto na ENGLISH or CARABAO ENGLISH pa na sila outside the workplace , dili man intawn na GROUNDS para maka ingon ka na SOSYAL ka or SOCIAL CLIMBER ba karon .

So just because you see CC people speaking in english , dili na PASOSYAL ilaha oi . Ayg kog ingna mo adto mo ug America or anywhere na everyone speaks english sosyal sila ? Its only a language my dear pipol .

In my point of view, I dont think its called p-sosyal.
Usahay mka-taxi kug pugos ky g-dress up ko, sakit akong tiil, o simply--gkapoi lng jd kog taman,
naa pd times, daghan ko i-uli sa amo na groceries..hehehe, or sininaaaaaa.
Usahay mka-english jud ky maka-anad sa dila ba, pero believe me, mas nindot jud mag-bisaya.

whats wrong if they are social climber? They wanna climb the social ladder, eh? Doesn't that just mean they want to work harder to achieve a better life? In any other country, this would be called the ideal of capitalism, to achieve greater wealth, status and therefore a better, longer and healthier life than your peers. In our country, it's called pa-laysho laysho.. just goes to show our crab mentality.

The people who like to mock others for being social climbers are usually the established rich who just inherited everything from their parents with family names like Benedicto, Garcia, Aboitiz etc.. in their mind the poor should wallow permanently in the gutter while they drink champagne and throw derision at the poor hapless waiters, I mean servants, at Cebu Country Club.

And let me tell you, that the word "social climber" is something harsh of a word to say. Not all cc agents are social climbers. Im an obvious evidence to that--
