hay... my brother and i had the worst experience in hospitals sa Chong Hua.
first off, my brother and i arrived at the ER mga 8pm. around 11pm na siya gi dala sa iyang room and to think, gamay ra'g tao that day. not like the normal ba, na it's actually full. it took forever sa admission department para ma interview ko for the insurance info and all that... and finally, when he got to his room, wala diay pillows kay ipapalit pa nimo. it think it was about P150.00 but at least you get to keep it. sanitary reasons daw... it took the nurse about 1 hour before he could actually deliver the pillow. my brother was tired, and badly needed to rest na. i was really seeing the pillow itself sitting on the nurse's station's desk the whole time while the nurses there were just chattering away. and right when i approached them, obviously impatient, the same nurse snapped at me saying "We're so busy man gud. Huwat lang sa inyong room."
after the "ordeal". when my brother was just about to go out, there was so much red tape to go through! i can't help comparing kay i myself have been admitted at CDU hospital. my mom works for DOH and i've observed how they are at Vicente Sotto and CCMC. feeling nako, it was more efficient considering the number of patients they actually have to attend to and the nurses/doctors staffed in a single shift. basta... ambot lang.
