I have a friend Jerome. He owns Jerome Pawnshop. His into this diving hobby he showed me some pix & his equipments. This type if hobby is for those who can afford it.WOW equipments if bought completely cost more than 100K. I can't afford this type of hobbies but surely want to try it if given the chance.

@ febs > around the island of mactan (lapu-lapu city) divers have a variety of dive spots to choose from depends on your die certification level and interests..We have underwater salt water caverns, famous marine sanctuaries, and some areas good for MACRO underwater photography..UP north of cebu, we have malapascua island famous for THRESHER sharks, REEF sharks and GIANT manta rays..whats good about CEBU, is the location..from here, you can go around the neighboring islands of BOHOL, SIQUIJOR, DUMAGUETE which is also pretty known for some extra ordinary diving..

@ ad_dur > i personally know jerome and we dove once together in an underwater clean up last year..YES, u were right about u said..MAHAL jud ang scuba gears..like other dive professionals around cebu, parehas rata ug opinion before.."DI NALANG KO KAY GRABE KAMAHAL ANG GAMIT!"..but since i fell in love each time im down underwater, i started to find ways para maabot ko where i am right now..i didnt mind kung unsa akoa ma-experience coz i was very hungry for knowledge and skills..took several years para maabot akoa dream of becoming a dive instructor..and believe me, it's NEVER that EASY!..i passed my instructor exam april of 2006..im both PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor since then with more than 300 multinational students under my name..I have NO regrets and I'm HAPPY about what i achieved..
