Im from blessed pedro calungsod parish in cantabaco, Toledo City and we are planning for a river cleanup project. Its called pista sa Sapa..Its in tune with the thrust of the archdiocese in our stewardship of mother earth. The river to clean up is the Ilag river. The cleanup will be this May, but there is no exact date yet. We hope that you could join us.

Hello ebriwan! Mangutana lang ta ko if there are any groups in Cebu doing volunteer work? I tried to search the forum but all I could find was volunteer blood donors hehe. Murag makahadlok pa na nga type of volunteering.

Anyway, kinsa ninyo nagabuhat ug volunteer work like Gawad Kalinga, Habitat for Humanity, or even teaching kids/adults, spending time with the aged, cleanup drives, anything to help the poor and our environment (naa pa ba laing klase nga volunteering? hehe)? Asa mu approach?

Rotaract Club is volunteer organization which internationally recognized organization. They medical missions, feeding, tutorials, book donations, computer donations, free medicines for the poor and even house building for Ita's community. They have lots of project in the community.
