first of all, my OBGYN is Dr. Patricia Ann Coronel. Naa cya sa CHong Hua Hospital. She's really nice. the only prob is that daghan jud cya og clients. but then at least, you know that's a sign that she's good. at first, i was really scared bec. it was my first time. but it really helped na buotan jud kaau cya and soft-spoken. about the pap smear, well i just had one bec. i found out that when you start being sexually active you need to have regular pap smear exams. a lot of reproductive diseases are asymptomatic at first, and dr. are only able to catch them during routine exams. the pap smear was not painful at all...! its just a little uncomfortable kay bugnaw ang speculum. but my dr. talked me through the steps and warned me about the coldness. that reassured me. i hope i helped you tiger_lily...

I would highly recommend Dr. Evelyn Tam, Rm 129 Visayas Community Medical Center
253-2739. Puede siya any hospitals including Cebu Maternity . She is the head of OB Dept sa VCMC. Very approachable mura ra mama ang treat niya nimo. I think she's had OB experience for 30+ years na. She is in her 50's.

the first OB i had, suggested caesarian delivery coz i have small pelvic. of course, i needed second opinion and Doc Tam is not into caesarian operations unless you really need one. so normal delivery jud ko last year, with 7.3 lbs baby.

Daghan kaayo siya aid na OB's when i delivered, i think there were three. Zero kulba jud. Wala kaayo siya daghan bawal on my eating habits basta small amounts lang. I have recommended her repeatedly to my family and friends, so far they've been quite satisfied with her.
