Well, you are right. Philosophy: Who Needs It? according to Ayn Rand Institute's website was said to be Rand's last collection of essays/letters. And yes, she loved Philosophy that in those essays she underscored the significance of Philosophy in the pursuit of life's meaning.

Unfortunately, it is the same "spiraling web of reasons"/Philosophy that have divided us to pieces, figuratively and literally. I think we probably have not reasoned enough to create the best philosophy to rule us all.
