    wow! 17 years old! i wish i started to workout at that age!!! hehehe... Mr. Phils na unta ko karon! hehehe...

    below 18 years, your growth hormone is somewhat very active compared to men @ 21 up (yeah im included here)... you will make good gains if you have the right routine and nutrition... of course, no supplements usa, usually, you need to be 18 to use those... keep up your research lil' bro and good luck!

    Arnold Schwarzenegger (7 time Mr. Olympia), Lee Priest (IFBB Pro @ 20) started bodybuilding at the age of 13.
    well, most of the pro's started at 13-18 years range...

    can anyone give me some stretching exercises? i tried Google but no luck yet... thanks.

    and on the topic, read this article here about losing weight and weight lifting http://www.building-muscle101.com/burning-fat.html
    here are some interesting quotes:
    Why would anyone want to lose muscle tissue and bone density? Why would you want to shrink your body instead of growing it? The secret to successful weight loss is to lose the body fat and bring out the muscle underneath. I believe this is the secret to attaining a sleek and sexy body.
    In order to lose body fat, your body must be in a state of negative calories. That is, you must be consuming less calories needed to sustain your current body weight. You can do this in one of two ways;
    • Eat below you current calorie base (amount of calories needed to sustain your current body weight);
    • Increase the amount of activity you do that burns up more calories;
    Or;
    • For the best results, a combination of both. By increasing the amount of activity you do, you won’t have to reduce all that much calories.
    It’s important to note that you want to keep lean muscle tissue. Keep your weight loss to about 1 to 1 ½ pounds per week and you should be fine. Remember a small calorie deficit is the key to successful weight loss.

    a pound of fat is about 3500 calories.. so if you create a negative of the equivalent you'll lose 1 lbs.

    i too am looking for stretching exercises... i feel that my warm up and cool down is not very effective ( i should have paid attention during gym classes )

    to know how much calorie a food have.. you can..

    a.) read the label
    b.) search the net ( i'm using www.thecaloriecounter.com)

    calorie is just a unit to count the heat energy.. hehe.. aside from calorie i'm also counting carbohydrate-protein-fat content of the food..

    those kind of products are called thermogenics..

    they enhace metabolism so the person loses fat quicker..

    if you plan on taking these kind of stuff you must consult your doctor just to be safe..

    mahal2x ni siya na product...

    these products won't work if you dont have a healthy eating habit and a exercise program..
