    sa teletech doh. wa na clay pili. pasara lang jud ang client specific exams & you'll be doing just fine.

    @topic
    i have a lot of friends who are graduates of nursing & they said that they wanted to work on the bpo industry as a stepping stone on trying to build a career abroad (para mahanas kono sa english bah). practicality (salary) comes second. ikatuluon or ikaupaton kono ang sweldo sa bpo agent compared sa mag nurse jud ka on a hospital.

    once nga na ka grab na kono ug opportunity to work abroad, then resign dayon sa bpo.

    Di ka malain ana?!!!

    mu apply unta kog prpduct trainer sa teletech. i'm an agent currently working in one of the biggest callcenter here in cebu. reason for that is i'm fed up with the stress of the account that i'm in. somehow i'm fit with the qualifications as a product trainer in teletech. i just wanna ask you guys if ok ni nga company, naa bay politics, ang pay, mga hungihong, etc.

    AT: i think its a waste of time nga dili nimo ipractice imo pagka nurse if single ra ka and wala kay dependent. para nako, you should opt for call center jobs or other jobs nga sayon ra kakwarta if naa ka desperate need for money (like me, naa na baby). sayang kaayo ato gitunan ug 4 years nya review na pud para lng ma-RN. nya if ma-RN na nuon, mushift ug layo sa course. stu kaayo ba... hehe

    now na wala na ako gf and baby dre sa phil, magnurse na ko para di masayng ako course and para maka-apas na nila sa US.

I asked them a ff-up question - why call center, you have studied and had sleepless nights for this 4 year course and have invested a lot in terms of money, time and yourselves as well, and have passed the board, why call center. they said it's for practical reasons, bec of retrogression, bec of the scarcity of need for nurses in our local hospitals - they need now to help their families.

    I personally don't have anything against people taking up nursing, my sister will graduate soon with this course. Maybe it would have been better if parents would have not been manipulative about it. Sayang kaayo ang hundresds of thousands of nursing grads nato nga wala dayon ka-landingan na trabaho s hospitals/clinics, med institutions. well wala sad ta kahibaw if one day, makatrabaho dyud as nurses ng atong mga nursing grads, pero mind you, in the call center I'm working with, in a day of recruiting people, esp kung job fairs namo, almost half of the applicants are nursing grads.. something to think about...
    its really sad,pro its whats happenning right now.

    I don't think masayang imong degree if you work for something else aside from being a nurse. It's just knowing what your priorities in life are, meaning, if you work for a call center agent, or become a teacher, that all depends on your decision and reason as to why you did so. But remember your goals (long-term) na mag nurse dba? So while you are at this jobs, find also other opportunities that renders you to become nurses. Read books and journals to ensure na dili mangaging imong knowledge as a nurse. I am also a nurse and desiring for a better means kay kapoy ning mag volunteer ra sige...hehehehe... i need to eat baya pud. So it all depends sa tao smiles
