Wow, simply wow. I did a search and found that these things can pretty much blast a big hole in a person's wallet. Amazon is selling a Hot Toys Iron Man for $999.00. Is that the usual going price for these collectibles? T_T

Its indeed true bro. But not all HT figures. So far, the most expensive ones are the IRON MAN line
and the PREDATOR line. But sad thing is that they are doing revisions to improved the product.
Just like the IRON MAN movie mark 2, price was really high until they created another mark 2 from
the IRON MAN movie 2. Only difference is that the new mark 2, (unleashed mark 2) has tons if accessories
and the head sculpt is james rhodey AKA war machine (played by Don Cheadle). The 1st edition had Tony S
for the hedsculpt. So the price for the 1st release mrk 2 went down a little bit...

Initially, SRP range is at 150-230 USD depending on the figure, Usually DX series (deluxe) are the more expensive ones.
