Of course, nobody plays a game to lose..But I think ang ganahan i emphasize sa coach sa iyang mga players is that they will win because of their team system, and they lose within that system too..Gameplan wasn't really executed perfectly but I think it was executed well enough until about the last 2 minutes, siguro sad na caught off guard ang USC when SWU opted to go big with Polegrates and Zanoria at the backcourt..endgame breaks didnt go USC's wa jud atong duwaa, ni collapse ila sets pag last minute, siguro naka 3 turnovers pa gane to sila within the last minute.Originally Posted by Mcmurills
Just a few moments ago when I asked Paul Joven sa ila sked..he was even apologetic, he felt bad he missed the shot that could have given USC the lead...but I told him it was ok, he took a good shot and he was open..there's always a half chance you make or miss it..better luck next game na lang
Jabby is actually Mike Reyes' favorite sa akong tan-aw(maybe tungod kay puros sila Tagalog) and could be groomed to be USC's future backcourt leader. The former UP Junior Maroon actually is a smart player, kakita ka nindot kaayo ug passing skills especially kadto iya alley oop kay Codilla and dili sad kabintahaan iya handles kadtong behind the back to evade 2 defenders sa center court..hinay lang jud nuon siyaOriginally Posted by fer15
USC's transition D really needs improvement..pag tune up pa lang sa Lhullier, na high blood na si Mike Reyes ana. USC players need to unlearn that tendency nga motan-aw lang if their man issued a long pass..in Mike Reyes' words "You don't even look kung saan pupunta ang bola, pag nag long pass, tumakbo ka na, iwan mo na yung nasa backcourt"..kana sad ang malibre off the screens nga pwede i handoff like Sam's case gahapon, I also saw that sa tuneup sa Lhullier, kinahanglan pa gamay ug court awareness ug dapat makapanimaho sa teammate.mao jud..sayang kay pildi..kapoy bya au cheer..hahah lingaw man sad gud..kalagot lng kay wla jud mi kauban mu.cheer for usc..heheh kato number 10- kay polegrates ba ang family name?hahah citom ila ang tawag sa amo mga tupad kay saba daw au..hahah and kato btaw pud si sam..wa jud siya gpasahan biskan libre au siya..ok bya tah iya dinuwaan gahapon..and sa SWu pud..running team au sila..murag sige ra sila fastbreak..didto mostly ang ila score..haiz..heheh [br]Posted on: November 19, 2007, 08:26:55 PM_________________________________________________
In Mr. Rowe's words after he learned USC lost to Lhullier in a tuneup game: "The only thing USC will be after the game is better"mao jud and first game pa pud to..more games to look forward to..[br]Posted on: November 19, 2007, 08:29:16 PM_________________________________________________
well, SWU won that game fair and square and not to take anything from them, they played well especially sa last minute..They also kept San Carlos within striking distance from the start and exploited their size inside and capitalized on the immaturity of USC's backcourtdont expect pud nga di mapildi ang usc..lingin ang bola..heheh naa pa lain mga games..[br]Posted on: November 19, 2007, 08:31:34 PM_________________________________________________
intensity was down usc was afraid/too tired to attack the basket in the open court. Very "lets run a play minded (nothin rong with that) but STILL LEARNING to test the waters of the fast break .. could of had heaps of fast break layups but happy to hold it up.. but in the first half it was like usc testing run ?? they just about dried out the bench in the first half anyway .. its the little things that hurt usc -setting picks and knowing why they run stuff was usc problem .. nino was hot all night.. its like they save his shoting ability to the last shot of the first 3 quarters
why
nino could of had thirty that game.. he took maybe 1 or 2 threes each quarter.. and didnt miss many of em ..
and llanto - prolly wanna of the storngest kids in the block, usc didnt post him up till the 19th minute of the game ?? his defender was a lil kid.. ??
DONT GET ME WRONG they played a good game.. everyones still learning yea yea
but when they went out in the fourth quarter they didnt go out to lose.. you can tell by the subs they made (not many)
but thats wen individuals knowledge of the offense comes through.. and excecution come through .. they were running plays for there stars but they waited till the last 5 minutes to do so.. thats what got me.. plays that worked for em in the first 3 quarters we(I) didnt see in the last ...
hahaha....bitaw, ngano man jud maulaw kuno mo beh beh beh..hehehe.dark_phoenix was right in front of you at halftime..hahaOriginally Posted by Thenewuscguy
