Profit- words come from Latin meaning "to make progress,".

siguro ni-act sila kay ang question naa didto kay personal og walay basehan.
Ang nahitabo kay personal na ang mga issue og subjective na kaayo ang mga nipost or nangutana.

Tawn sab... That's a broad definition of GAIN. A valuable return. Valuable from the root word value. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/value. In your standpoint profit is a valuable return... which is the same as monetary gain.

OT: Business 101 rcruman; What is profit? Profit is simply the final amount of money that the business makes, once all the costs are paid from income (aka Revenue). I think that's what your organization is doing since the start. Foundations as what your congregation is saying is just a front. No organizations can survive if no products or services being rendered. How sure are you if your church is not making any?

    English is a queer language.

while in business terms you may attribute profit to financial gain. but profit may also mean "to make progress" aside from monetary terms.

what shall one profit (gain) if he owns the whole world but looses his own soul?
