Pataka ra man ka oi! Pena is a legit Fil-Am and has pinoy blood in him. It was Dodong Bascon, a respected rich clan in Negros, who partly discovered his talent. Mao na rason Pena nakasulod sa MBA Negros Slashers. Iya docs was proven genuine and legit by the senate headed by then Sen. Barbers!

Dodong Bascon personally knows ang pamilya ni Pena especially Pena's mother and relatives. Pena was among several fil-ams that were investigated to have false docs, but Pena was cleared bcoz his was all genuine with actual support of family and relatives. Unsa amnesty program sulti nimo oi! walay amnesty amnesty sa direct ruling of fil-ams playing in the PBA oi! Pena has pure filipino blood that's why he is playing in the PBA not bcoz of the amnesty program you are talking about! Ayaw refer sa forums sa imohang mga facts and basis do kay dili na reliable. Know the person in real life before you post bogus claims!

FYI, there actually was an amnesty program for Fil-ams nga wala gani jud maestablish ang ila claim to citizenship, not by the Senate but by the PBA itself and 2 of the more popular beneficiaries of this are Eric Menk and Mick Pennisi...Menk does have a Pinoy mom but na-question if by the time of his birth, naturalized US citizen na ba iya mama..

and by the way, Peña is implicated in Senate Report 256, the Senate report on Fil-ams found to have concocted claims..Even with those findings, no summary deportation proceedings were done because apparently nobody filed a case ..

Actually 2 Senate committes confirmed the suspicious documents of those whose names appeared on the report, one committee chaired by the late Sen. Robert Barbers and another by then Sen. John Osmeña..

It is intriguing how many personalities like Taulava have so far been confirmed to be Filipino citizens after a lot of official investigations indicate otherwise..Oh well, only in the Philippines do we obtain documents so easily out of thin air..

Benefit of the doubt, Peña could be legit...But it just intrigues me how so many official investigations into the matter have found him to be otherwise..

Oist! FYI it was Sen. Barbers and Sen. Osmena themselves who acquitted Pena and other fil-ams in the FIL-SHAM case. Sila duha moy head sa investigating committee. That only proves that Pena and Asi are legit fil-ams. And those investigations are for real, remember Asi was once deported kay fake daw siya? But he came back and proved it otherwise coz his conscience was clear that he has filipino lineage. Same with Pena and other fil-ams! Nay uban nga wala ma-clear mao toy tinuod nga fake!
