so does that mean "rival" ni cla? in what way kha? if u say tungod ra sa anang 3 ka virtues that they each have, that's nonsense. hehe

btw, 4 ang principles sa KoC:
    Charity
    Unity
    Fraternity
    Patriotism

and sayop diay ko sa description sa KoC on my previous post. KoC is a Roman Catholic fraternal service organization diay...

dili na "lodge" ila tawag sa KoC...sa ayala, it is their Visayas "headquarters". Most service orgs call their offices "headquarters".
"Lodge" is a term used in Freemasonry and Mormon churches.

to give a short info on KoC, if u all don't mind:

John F Kennedy, the only Catholic to be elected President of the United States, was a Fourth Degree member of Bunker Hill Council No. 62 and Bishop Cheverus General Assembly...

The KoC Philippines will hold their Golden Jubilee Celebration this 2008...

In the 2006 fraternal year the Order gave US$143.8 million directly to charity (1.1 Billion in charitable contributions in the last 10 years) and performed over 68 million man hours of voluntary service. For their support for the Church and local communities, as well as for their philanthropic efforts, the Order is often referred to as the "strong right arm of the Church". The Order's insurance program has more than $60 billion of life insurance policies in force and holds the highest insurance ratings given by A. M. Best, Standard & Poor's, and the Insurance Marketplace Standards Association.

while in KoC its patriotism, in FM, it is consideration of duties to God, country, and family, first before duties as a freemason.. hehe..
i also asked my 2 barkada from the two fraternity regarding this rivalry and the one from FM said i dont know, theyre the ones trying to compete with us, and the other one from KoC said, nah, they are the devil worshippers(as a joke i think).. hehe.. and we all laughed together..
and also, i dont think its nonsense.. KoC is Catholic Fraternity and RC is against freemasonry.. simple logic.. hehe..

    I don't get it.
FM is a brotherhood of RC's.. I guess..
Why should FM hates RC? Or vice versa..

We really don't know what FM is..
It's a society/brotherhood full of secrets and mysteries..
    I guess..

again, were is "rivalry" ana? KoC doesn't need to compete w/ any group, as well as Freemasonry doesn't need to compete w/ any group either.

if u mean rivalry in getting members to join, i don't think so...besides, lahi2x man cla ug tinuhoan. KoC is only RC, while FM is "all religion"...ang best description tingali is KoC "doesn't like" Freemasonry principles. and if we think "doesn't like" is tantamount to "rivalry" then we are dead wrong.

Rivalry is a competition between similar individuals, or in this case groups, for something like want for attention, prize, position, or profit.

ask TGP and AKP about "rivalry" and i think they could answer that more clearly...hahaha

both groups are philantrophic groups, thereby it could also be a rivalry. hehe..
And also, KoC (a catholic fraternity) venomitly denies having members becoming members of FM.
And also, FM's perceived religious nature together with its acceptance of people of any faith is alleged to minimize the importance of Catholic religious dogma. Try to research where the separation of state and church originated, and its leaders.. hehe..

kng both philanthropic groups, does it mean automatically nga rivals dayon cla? besides, "philantrophy" is not something to compete for...hehehe

yeah, "could be", but not "are"...and if u can't find any current links or articles with a case of rivalry between these 2 groups, i am resting my case...

Lions Club and Jaycees are both service orgs. did we ever see any rivalry between them? AFAIK, frats ug gangs ra man ang naay rivalry...hahaha
