they are unprepared no matter what they say. i think they're just looking for any reason to postpone the summit. bsag wla pa tingali nag bagyo, ma postpone lang ghapon cguro

ASEAN Summit will push through next year. That is the assurance that the organizing committee stated before the local and foreign media when they announced that it will be reset to another date. The sole reason for the postponement was not terror threats nor weak security but the tropical storm Seniang.

For days now, we have seen in the news how Seniang badly hit the Visayan region and how the government responds to the typhoon victims of both Seniang and Reming in the Bicol region. It would be very much unfair to the organizers and to the Filipino people if we will be condemning ourselves for prioritizing our fellow Filipino people over holding a summit. After all, the summit is reset to another date.

HR 1450 napasar, gipangadlawnan sa kongreso bisan naunsa na sa Bicol more or less 1000 people died/missing.
