    Practice.

What's the point of learning English if you aren't going to speak it?

I don't know, maybe because I was brought up in an English speaking environment or could it be that the English language was my FLI? perhaps, but it deoesn't mean to say that I'm good at it. However it just comes out naturally as well as the accent especially when I'm mad or whenever I try convey something or express my thoughts. Maglisod kog explain in words whenever I try to speak in the vernacular, idk!, maybe I'm just not used to it. In fact, I started to speak our native language when I was already in my late elementary years , gikasab-an pa jud ko sa ako parents ngano nakat-on kog bisaya hahaha!

To begin with, learning to speak the English language doesn't have anything much to do with the accent nor the intonation. The grammar should definitely be the first thing on the list, then the rest will follow.

We all have lapses, even native English speakers do..
not to mention, wrong grammar man gani tingali ko hahaha

Practice makes perfect. So read, listen, write and speak english as often as u can. Speaking english fluently means being able to express our thoughts, ideas and feelings. grammar should not be our main concern, as even native english speakers make grammar mistakes. but of course if you speak english fluently, a perfect grammar would be a plus.

Don't watch TV sitcoms since you may pick up slang english. Watch news such as Fox, CNN, etc. Those accents are neutral and devoid of any slang language.

Find books full of pictures and illustrations and read the captions in these pictures and illustrations and try to connect/correlate the caption with the image. You exercise the various parts of your brain that deals with language, memory, spatial processing, and creativity.
