bro asa gani 2ng gabaligya sa iyang 1 yr gym memebrship sa metro? si jennifer tan mn 2 dba?
Just a query mga gym rats and workout gurus.
Ok lang ba mag carbo loading? I eat a lot of rice, potato, camote, and other carbohydrates loaded foods everyday but I workout almost everyday too. My routine would focus more on cardio activities and my aim is to lose weight and tummy fats. Would this kind of diet help? I only eat a lot during breakfast then gradual and small meals na afterwards, but still full of carbo and protein (I eat a lot of chicken meat, pork, sometimes goat meat, and eggs).
Thanks in advance.
@yokam: there is the keto diet.. the idea is you eat less carbs(about 30-50g but if you're active you might consider a little more maybe like 60~70g) for 5 days and getting the other source of energy from protein(usually x1 your body weight) and the rest from fats(the good source)
then after 5 days.. you do a depletion exercercise(cardio, early morning to deplete what remain of the glycogen stores) then you can do carbo loading, this time you get most energy from carbohydrates and protein.. try to lower the fat as much as possible.. this is the fun and the hardest part.. you can eat almost anything and get away with it..
Theory is that when you eat less carbs the body will turn to fats as an alternative energy source since there's little carbo... then during the loading days the excess carbs won't be stored as fats but instead as glycogen and it's stored in your muscles to replenish for the next phase...
WARNING: you might feel down during the first few days cause the body is adapting to the new diet.. this will go away after 2-3 days if not.. then you're sick.. this is an advance diet.. calu gud ka to the max ani... really plan this out...
DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible if anything bad happend to you.. do this at you're own risk
you can use belts para safe... wrap it around your head... para dili sakit kung ma pakong... wahahah!

bro about the keto diet is this really effective? i want to get rid of the fat around my waist... i dont know i do sit ups 50reps and 5 sets a day still no improvement. half rice na lng ko pirmi. i do cardio for 30min to 1 hour a day then heavy lifting... but can't get rid of the fat...haaay discourage na bya ko... they tell me to rake hydroxycut.
@P-Chan:
Playing safe.hehe. Thanks a lot. :mrgreen:
@rdyteves: for me yhea... don't be... mas better if you log everything exactly from the exercise and the all food you eat.. and review it after a week para ma kit.an ang problem...then we can find a solution to your problem.. and always think positive!
