I'm not moaning about the fact I cannot buy, i was just expressing my thoughts that I would like to buy and I'm disapointed that I cannot. I also expressed my views that it would be beneficial to the economy of the Philippines if I and other foreigners could buy. I can't and i accept that fact. I won't use lawyers to try and get round anything, the law is clear!!


My g/f and I would prefer a house to a condo, it's nice to have a front garden and I would love my own gym and most importantly a drum kit......not possible in an apt as you can imagine.

We will be married within the next 18 months when she will be coming here. Then of course we could buy but it will be all in her name and I never trust lawyers. no matter where they are from with fine points. I want to keep it legal and simple.

I dont have to name names.But im saying this not on hatred but based on my observation and experienced.I say again.If youre not one of them,youre not 100 percent.your observations? how many hundreds of thousands of British nationals have you met or encountered? how many millions of Americans have you come in contact with? don't you think it's a bit "small" and "irrelevant" a sample-size to come up with such conclusions?

stop living under a rock. read a book. watch tv. listen to the radio. use google to back up your theory. visit other countries if you have time or better yet, go to other places in the Philippines. that should be the first step.

don't judge a whole country, a race, if you've only come across a couple of their countrymen.

not only will you look ignorant but you'd be the best example of the modern-day barok who still lives in his cave in the 21st century.

I feel sorry for you. I really do. I hope you don't have kids. I quiver at the thought of them idolizing you. what a shame.

Well, I find it hard to believe that you you have never witnessed any of the situations that I brought up. But that's okay. Your anger is something for you to sort out in your own way (by the way...threats are boring). Nothing that anyone here can say will convince you to see or to think differently. Some does not mean generalizing all aliens.How do some foreigners become rude?it's your nature feeling youre superior of all races.Ive spoke with some British nationals.When theyre drunk already,they would say that they are of royal blood.of kings and queens.That theyre above all people.Americans think that theyre superior in all aspects.Also aliens become rude when Filipinos become inferior to these people.
You foreigners are providing Filipinos with jobs and investments but still you have all the luxury of your investments.Our natural resources,our low paying service,our hospitality(which you are aways abused).So i youre not like your fellow aliens,then your not pure bloodied foreigner.

and yes, i was ashamed and guilty of being arrogant and feeling superior sometimes over Manilenyos, Boholanos, Samarans, Mindanaoans, that is why i said i am trying my best to change my attitude & behavior. Di man gyud usahay malikayan ang atoang "superiority ug inferiority" complex. Tawo ra gud ta. Common "ethnic slurs" are even the result of these...i'm no saint, and i know u r not too...(well, except your name, "godsaint")...

let's face it. we are only a developing nation, far behind from the well-developed ones. it will not be a surprise that sometimes these British, Americans, French, etc. think lowly of us. but ang importante lang is that they don't show (or even just a hint) it to us so that respect and understanding can be reciprocated in both ways.

No worries, I can see how it may have come across as so. I love your country and the people and it is a place I would dearly love to retire to. It is, in my opinion a great pity that the Philippines gets labelled only as a developing country. Despite all the problems you may have, the people are one of it's greatest assets, The way you look after and care for your families is a lesson to all of us in the West. Despite the hardship and the suffering a lot of people suffer from, they always welcome you with a smile, thats why I like it so much.

i've met a wonderful young lady from your country whom I love very much. I certainly know that I would not have met someone as sweet and kind and romantic in my own country or anyhwere else in the west. One of the reasons I would love to raise my children in your country and not over here is that i would love them to turn out to be just like her!!!
