the xmen will split up as a result of the civil war with bishop leading on faction and cyclops the other.

also in civil war #1 it was revealed that ironman is pro registration while tony stark is anti-registration. what gives? why is tony talking to his armor like it was alive? and why are they having opposing views?. Shades of a Multiple personality d/o? We cant tell for sure.

you can see prof x at the pages of new avengers:illuminate, he and magneto are currently missing after house of m. while racheal grey return from the future at the pages of cable (forgot the issue #).
if you're an xmen fan check the house of m series and all title under the house of m storyline. also check the current civil war x-over, hulklanet hulk, and annihilation storyline.
cause marvel is starting to make some change within the marvel universe.

OT:I think there was an issue where ironman's armor became sentinent (controlled by ultron).Or it could be James Rhodes (war machine).Ironman was also controlled by immorutus and kang.It could also be somebody from the gov't (Stark was once the secretary of defense,somebody might have stolen or copied the plans for the ironman technology).That ironman must be somebody else ,because tony was the one who suggested they form a superhero "governing body" to govern superhuman actions before the govt beats them to it (Illuminati issue).

I think spidey will defect though.

Apocalypse is one stupid mutant i say. How many times must he use members of the xmen to be his horsemen. There was Angel, then wolverine. And Hey guess what, they snapped out of the mind control.. He never learns his lesson. And the Xmen stories these days have been really stale. 3rd Summers brother? I'll pass. Jean grey is dead again? secondary mutation?The 12? Wolverine on every x title? And making Prof. X into a secretive and manipulative father figure of the xmen just is a mischaracterization there.

The only thing interesting to come out of the X franchise in the past decade are X-statix, deadpool, and exiles. And to think, they arent even the main xbooks.

everybody is has its own opinion.
here's also the opinion of couple of FAMOUS comics personality ive met at the recent armageddon expo. ive spoke to geoff johns (you know the writer of the current dc hit identity crisis) and phil jimenez (penciller of identity crisis and former penciller of x-men) (both of them are nice guys, even signed some comics for me and have there pic taken with me) and both agree that the xmen is still one of the best books in the market, and they expect that the current civil war x-over will be a hit. and geoff johns also added that would love to write an x-book if ever he would move to marvel.

and regarding the summers brothers, correction 4 summers. well, 1 is more of a half-brother. cause his gene is a combination of scott, sinister and grey's (sarah or jean) dna. see xmen:the end series2.
lets just see what marvel has instore cause marvel is just revamping its books for the next generation, i mean we can't have the same xmen line-up until the year 2050.
as for wolvie being in most marvel books, thats what you get for being popular.Â* Â*
