Both this and the first one had mixed reviews, but that didn't really matter anyway. Viewers still flocked to the cinemas. I heard Dead Mans Chest just broke box office records last weekend. Good stuff....

Brilliant film! I love it! Though the ending was too much of a cliffhanger, I just loved it. Never a dull moment in the film. And there was a lovely surprise in the end.. "SO whats become of my ship?" Damn, I love this movie.
And here's a little trivia: First film to feature Disney's new logo, a computer-generated model of the Magic Kingdom, replacing the blue and white silhouette.
Yeah, I noticed the new opening logo, pretty spiffy.

it broke the all time one day opening record (held previously by SW 3), and the 3 day record (held previously by Spiderman), who knows what other records this movie will make but some are saying that pirates 3 will surpass this pa.. Originally Posted by obemon
