I tried learning Esperanto a few years ago, but I stopped because I realized that learning it is not a good use of my time. Esperanto is not very useful.

I wish to learn these languages in the future instead:
1. Nihongo - for doing business in Japan. also useful for reading technical documents
2. Mandarin or Cantonese - for doing business in China. useful for negotiating
3. French or Spanish - I can't see any practical use as of the moment, but this is probably good for gaining perspective
