this is a place for open-minded people to interact. so, if anyone amongst you thinks that fraternities are stupid, just say your piece and don't try to force the issue.

true, some fraternity members have resorted to gang-like acts but this doesn't make every fratman a gangster. some can't make [i]each[/b] single fratman the same as the rest.

it is just so sad that we point fingers at people without looking at ourselves. we whine a lot about these "useless fraternities", as some call them, without even knowing the true essence of being a fratman.

How could you blame them (the unfair media) when you know they wont have anything to begin with if you didnt give them something. Do I have to write that shooting someone does indeed stir news and can make a fraternity's name BAD?

Who will disagree with me when I say ONE KILL make all your charitable works disappear? I do not know how many kills each frat has made on each other but I think one is enough to brand your group as a GANG. No charitable act can justify the violence that these two groups have brought upon the community.

For those "few good men" in them, you may have done some things to end the frat war but it will NEVER COUNT until the violence stop. Bad parts make the whole bad no matter how many good parts are there---so if we are saying a few good men exists in them---there is no prejudice in saying these groups are just trouble. Unless you clear out those bad parts, your group will continue to be bad whatever you say or do anything good.

Jumped into a bandwagon? Before I blab away? Do I have to be directly or indirectly a victim to say some things about the two groups?? You have got to be <insert bad phrase here> me man...!?!

I am not trying to make a point by sounding mad or something but I think reggiebuang(moderator) actually might have said something that matters. He did say we would "lock this topic" if it "does more harm than good".

Since these two frats are only doing "more harm than good" -- whether they are fighting each other OR justifying their war OR tyring to rid themselves of "non-deserving brods" -- they should just be disbanded.

I know it is impossible to implement such to the two frats--BUT, it is a start. Ceasing to exist works for this topic, if they are REAL fraternities, it WILL work for them too. If they are gangs, God bless their souls.

FYI, C/Supt. Cecil Ezra Sandalo recanted his statement branding Tau Gamma Phi as a Menace to Society & personally apologized for calling as as such, in case you don't know. AFAIK, he didn't clear Akrho though. I just met with him this morning with CIIB Chief Maj. Paul Labra, CIDG Chief, Col. Erwin Diocos & acting Vice Mayor Mike Rama.
