AFAIK, when connecting to any metal object using wrist strap, dapat nakaground pud ang imu gikonekan. naa man to'y thread about ana but that's another story.

@Generals, dili malagpot ang paste bro. Basta inig taod anang Thermal Paste, mopilit na xa ngara as long as dili nimo xa tangtangun. So, don't worry about it if mag limpyu ka with compressor as long as dili nimo tangtangun ang Fan. Kay diha na siya nakapilit sa ilalum sa heatsink metal.

    Mas maayo brush then blower...

kadto ingon og ordinaryo nga tubig ang i-clean dili jud to maayo, ok ra kung specially-treated nga tubig same as electronic company used
in cleaning thier boards, wagtangon ang mga minerals nga makacause sa taya og uban pa, they call it board washer, and they baked the boards in an oven for several hours to dry it. Ang critical nga component ani is the processor, og uban nga BGA components, magpondo ang tubig sa ilawm, uga na sa gawas pero naa pa daghan tubig sa ilawm, remember water is conductor, which can cause short circuits.

    fyi.
