I don't generalize the celebrity politicians, but not Manny. Pacquiao is a good boxer. and because of this, he became a good endorser. and he has so many fans (as a singer). Just don’t let him get to politics. No more celebrity politicians, please.
Not all politician-turned celebrities are bad. But, only a handful of them are really worth their positions...

now that's what we call political circus... it's a laughing stock... it's a shame... i have nothing against Manny Pacquiao, but for the record, i bet i know a couple about Philippine political science than compared to him... But still even if i got his fame, i wouldn't risk running for Congressman, it is such a big deal... gamiton ra jud na siya.

for those who idolize the celebrity I think their support can have an influence. though by the time one is old enough to vote, the influence would be minimal. Should celebrities get involved with politics? Do stars making affiliations to political parties make you want to vote for them?
Honestly, Celebrities in politics make me feel sick...
