the fight scenes are better..unlike in bleach, naruto characters use their brains to beat their opponents..bleach characters rely too much on power and weaponry..just look at the main characters..ichigo usually wins battles by using weaponry and techniques superior to his opponents..naruto, even though his an idiot, always outsmarts his opponents through ridiculous though formidable tactics..

From a writer's point of view, Naruto's story and characters are more developed, believable while in Bleach the characters are just plain silly and unrealiable.

For example-- the Gotei 13, an organization that is supposed to serve as military of the afterlife, does not appear to that 'organized'. Its leaders have too much personality and individuality, seemingly to prefer to work as well as fight on their own rather than in a team.

So far, there have been little opportunity in the manga Bleach to see these so-called Captains lead their respective squads in a 'team effort' to deal with the challenges that come their way, not like in Naruto where ninja villages are a nation's military strength and accordingly so, making the most of individual strengths through teamwork to complete each mission.
