Hebrew... the same people who ask Judas to betray Jesus and yet they said to trust them there will be no harm... Trust as we all know is synonymous to Faith. That same faith was untrusted to Judas to point Jesus... but broke the "faithful" agreement. Those Hebrew priests... tsura lang nila!

Brod, this where you have to think OUTSIDE THE BOX... you've been engulfed by your blind faith that the Bible is the only book to read. How about your Academic books? Magazines, Newspapers, and other modes of media... isn't it in the same book that you read, that you have find the answers on you own? Ngano diay brod, ang biblia dili diay mausab? Nga ang mga athors are just like you and me, flesh and blood... human beings! Have you ever noticed that Jesus Christ never wrote a verse in the bible? and most of the writers are his disciples? Hmmmm... interesting no?

Thought way pugsanay, mamugos man lagi ug padawaton ta sa biblia!

The epistle of Paul was sent first to the Hebrews, is not the Hebrews who wrote it.
Paul is sending a message to all Christians and it was addressed first to the Hebrews.
So the definition of Faith in Hebrew 11:1 came from Apostle Paul.

They are not authors they are writers (apostle, evangelist, prophets, and kings).
They have been guided by the Holy Spirit.

Thought way pugsanay, mamugos man lagi ug padawaton ta sa biblia!

    Peace!

The Epistle of St. Paul to the Hebrews
St. Paul wrote this Epistle to the Christians in Palestine, the most part of whom being Jews before their conversion, they were called Hebrews. He exhorts them to be thoroughly converted and confirmed in the faith of Christ, clearly showing them the preeminence of Christ's priesthood above the Levitical, and also the excellence of the new law above the old. He commends faith by the example of the ancient fathers: and exhorts them to patience and perseverance and to remain in fraternal charity. It appears from chap. 13 that this Epistle was written in Italy, and probably at Rome, about twenty-nine years after our Lord's Ascension. (For more information, see the article EPISTLE TO THE HEBREWS in the Catholic Encyclopedia.)

    Peace!

ikaw dili ka modawat sa catholic source basta kontradikto sa imo ipanulti but if Ok, imo gamiton! Typical ADD jud!

The author of Hebrews is not known, as the date and place of origin are also uncertain. Some very old traditions attribute the book to Paul, but it is unlikely that he wrote it as it differs greatly in style and more importantly in theological language from his other works. Even very early Christians such as Origen did not accept the Pauline authorship. The earliest reference to Hebrews is in a letter from Clement of Rome, dated about 96 A.D., so the letter was written before that time period.
