CBCP and nuns are part of the catholic church. In Catholic organization there are many kinds of job or I would say mission and sometimes they call it charisma in every religious congregation. And nuns are not separate entities in the organization. CBCP is like the representative of the church when it comes to voicing the church stands but it doesn't mean that they will be the one to take care of those babies. It should be assigned to a congreation that has a mission in running an orphanage. Obviously you don't have any idea about the charitable instution of the church and how it works.

I think the catholic church was blinded by realities which is in fact it's difficult to feed all mouths.

My Italian boss told why he and many people in Rome hate the church. He said that the church is like a visitor in your home, but if he sees something he doesn't like, for example your furniture, he will tell you to change it, and you wanting to overly welcome this visitor- change the furniture instantly. Sakto ba kaha na? That's why they were made in to their own city.

What I don't understand is why the Catholic Church isn't even making the slightest gesture to try to adapt with the changing times. Usab na giud ang panahon karon but it doesn't mean that differentiating between good and bad will change. How can educating the young people about the ill effects of pre-marital *** and informing them how not to ruin their future be so bad?
If there is really one thing that the teachings of Jesus has taught be it's to be strong in trying times. Even if the times become even more trying, if we believe in him and do our best, He will hear us.

It is such a bold statement to say they want to adopt all the unwanted babies.. and I will bet 1 year's salary that this cannot be attained. It's like saying they will solve hunger in Africa.
